I decided to get my external flash (a cheep fully manual amazon model) and decided to play around with it.
My new place is fairly dark so it is way too dark for pictures inside unless its very bright outside.
Flashes are mostly used for portraits so I figured I would take some of the most receptive models I have.

I enjoyed flashing off to one side of the room so the rebound would get a good contrast across them.
This one didn’t have much in the way of colour to begin with so I throw it all the way black and white.
The only thing about black and white is it looks like a memorial photo.
Mia is doing fine btw.
Duke was in more of a advantageous pose. But it was harder to get the flash on only one side.
But i was pleasantly surprised by how the flash brought out his coat. It is pretty hard to get him to show up properly in any picture.
